Game Changer author Steve Howell may have been closeted in Labour headquarters during the 2017 general election, but he is making up for it now by speaking at meetings around the country.

After a dozen or so events in April, May and June, a new book tour will see him take the discussion on what can be learned from Jeremy Corbyn’s inspirational campaign to eight more venues, starting with the People’s Bookshop in Durham.

“The aim is to build on what we achieved in 2017 so that we oust the Tories completely when the next chance comes,” says Corbyn’s former deputy director of strategy and communications.

“The meetings I did after the book was launched in April were really well attended and lively. The 2017 campaign was such a rich experience, there’s a lot to discuss and it’s great to get feedback on how things went from a grassroots perspective.

“The meetings are also an opportunity to discuss the politics of the campaign, how it broke the neo-liberal mold, and what we have to do to build a movement that will deliver and sustain radical change.”

The confirmed autumn events are listed below, and further events are being arranged. If you would like Steve to speak at a meeting please e mail: steven.lambert@freshwater-uk.com
